It's difficult to join softball leagues around the valley with only a couple people, so this is the place where we can all get together, practice, go to the batting cages and form our own teams. We currently have several teams in the Gilbert leagues (both co-ed and mens) and are looking into branching out into other citiies. We try to keep the co-ed teams to between 12-14 people. The Homeschoolers' Picnic Lunch Club is for kids ages 8 and up. This is an opportunity for some of the older kids to meet and make friends. We'll get together once a week for a picnic lunch at Veterans Oasis Park. After lunch the kids can enjoy the park. There is a nice big lake that the kids can walk, scooter or ride bikes around.
